‘Maths was “the worst ever subject”. But after just one term with Helen, it became (and remains) my daughter’s favourite subject. Helen’s endless fund of fun, patience and ingenious learning games was a the confidence boost my daughter needed. Helen is a wonder!’

‘I couldn’t recommend Helen more highly. She has looked after our three boys, on an ad hoc basis for the last three years. Helen was by this time working as a teacher, and so was able to brilliantly use her experience not just as a nanny but also a primary school teacher, to expertly work with our boys. The boys were enchanted with Helen’s innovative teaching style, and loved the sessions sitting on her magic carpet! As parents Helen was perfect, feeding back thoughtfully and with a maturity that was reassuring.
Helen is personable, bubbly, always smiling and incredibly experienced. I could not recommend her more highly – she is the perfect package and I would love to have her back any time!’

I consider my daughter extremely fortunate to have had Helen as her Reception teacher – Helen provided her with the best possible start to her school life. From the moment I met her on the home school visit, I knew that we were in the most warm, caring and capable hands that you could wish for. She instilled a wonderful love of learning in my daughter, which she still shows now, several years later. Helen has a wonderful gift with young children and understands how to bring out the best in each child she encounters. I cannot recommend her highly enough and just wish that my older children could have benefitted from her wonderful teaching methods as well!

‘Helen came to work with our son during a very difficult time in Year 1, when he was experiencing a lot of self-doubt and low self-esteem about his abilities. Her mission was to try to get him excited about learning again, and to help him to feel more confident and capable, and she’s succeeded at both! Her sessions with him feel more like playing than work to him, and he looks forward to seeing her and is very proud of the work that he does with her. She’s helped tremendously with his handwriting, fine motor control and reading, but the most important part is what she’s done for his self-esteem. I can’t recommend her enough!’

‘Since starting regular maths sessions with Helen, maths has become something my 7 year old son looks forward to and enjoys! Helen’s kindness, patience and great fun teaching techniques have really built his confidence and ability. I highly recommend her!’

‘Helen was totally tuned in to educating the girls. She did this through play and exploration. She was brilliant at getting them to read early (her initiative) and I have no doubt that Helen played a major part in making sure the girls were ready for their 7+ entries. I used to refer to her as an all singing all dancing Mary Poppins.’

‘To be totally honest, I am unsure of how I would have coped with the situation had Kim not been there. Her intuitive nature is rare to say the least. Through her support, I maintained some sense of dignity and composure in a caring environment. I was supported to the extent that I went from feeling afraid, to confident enough to care for my little girl by myself.
Any company would be incredibly fortunate to have Kim in their employment and those she helps will no doubt be grateful for her presence as soon as she enters their lives. She is a wonderful, compassionate and caring individual and I cannot recommend her highly enough.’
